English equestrian riding instruction is a primary focus of the stable.

We are dedicated to the best possible riding instruction. We aim to get the fundamentals of riding right so that all participants can build on proper technique and knowledge in their riding career. Our program includes beginners and serious competitors.

Our instruction is tailored to the riders’ ability and pace of learning. Classes are limited in size to a maximum of five riders to ensure quality attention. We emphasis safety in all aspects of riding and horse care.

Valerie Everson, our main instructor, is a Canadian Equestrian Federation certified instructor. Valerie also holds her British equestrian coaching certification and has extensive practical and formal training in riding and equestrian coaching. In addition, Valerie has a Bachelors degree in Physical Education.

	RHS offers well schooled, quality horses and ponies.
	RHS accepts students ages 6 and up. We have a very popular program for adult riders and can offer small group or private instruction.
	Most riders participate in weekly or twice weekly lessons. We sell lessons in packages of four, however individual lessons are available on a trial basis. All first time riders will begin their instruction on the longe line will progress to group as ability allows.
	Participants in the regular lesson program have many opportunities to participate in clinics and shows on our school horses.
